Lisa M. Castellano, D.O.
Lisa is originally from Iowa and moved to Tucson with her family as a teenager. She attended the University of Arizona and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry in 1993. She forgot how cold it was in Iowa, so returned to Des Moines University where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medical Degree in 2000.
After she had enough practice shoveling show, she returned to the University of Arizona and completed her residency in Internal Medicine, Cardiology research fellowship and recently completed her Cardiology fellowship. Her special interests in cardiology focuses on noninvasive cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear medicine and cardiac CT.
Lisa is married and has a beautiful four year old daughter. Paul, Lisa’s husband, is a DPS officer. They enjoy water skiing, snow skiing, boating and walking their dog. Lisa joined Southwest Heart in August 2007 and has taken over as Medical Director of Southwest Heart’s nuclear department.
